The updated edition of the Brighton & Hove Independent Café Guide is coming very soon ladies and gentlemen. Along with brand new cafés, updated reviews and a coffee glossary, the upcoming edition will also feature a full colour fold-out map detailing the best coffee spots and the city’s places of interest.
Throughout the last six months, the café scene has sadly had its casualties with the rising price of coffee, the financial crisis and the continued popularity of chain coffee houses having taken their toll. However, Brighton has also seen a host of new coffee-focussed independents springing up of late, a sign that the burgeoning coffee scene is very much alive and kicking. Along with the continued excellence of many of the city’s thriving cafés, the new places that have arisen and, hopefully, this guide, there are now more reasons than ever to seek good, ethically sourced coffee.
Released officially on 1/3/2011, the book will be available in the best independent cafés throughout the city - including Marwood, Taylor St. Baristas, Coffee@33, Ground Tea & Coffee and the Small Batch Coffee Company. Additionally, it will once again be available in Waterstones and a range of fine independent retailers priced £5.99
